Time Card — Privacy Policy
Last updated 7 October 2026
This policy covers the Time Card iOS app, currently owned and published by the founder of AZ & J PTY LTD. The company provides this policy and support for the app.
Time Card has no accounts and no sign-in. We never see your name or email address unless you choose to email us.
What stays on your device
The following never leaves your phone:
- Every timesheet, client record, rate, invoice and GST figure you enter
- All generated PDF invoices and backups, unless you share or save them somewhere yourself
What the app sends, and to whom
Crash reporting (Sentry) and usage analytics (PostHog) run only in App Store and TestFlight builds. Sentry's crash handler is the only Sentry feature enabled: personally identifying data, breadcrumbs, screenshots, view hierarchy capture, session replay and performance tracing are all off. PostHog receives only events and details from a fixed list, checked on the device before sending, so nothing you type, such as client names, ABNs, bank details, rates, amounts, invoice numbers or notes, is ever sent. Screen and tap capture, session replay, surveys, feature flags and person profiles are off, and the app never tells PostHog who you are. PostHog stores the events in the European Union. Your IP address reaches PostHog as part of any internet connection; the app asks PostHog not to work out a location from it, and we don't use it to identify you.

Turning it off
Usage analytics is on by default. Turn it off at any time in Settings → Usage analytics → Share anonymous usage data. The app stops sending straight away and deletes any events still waiting to be sent. To have analytics that was already sent deleted, tap Request analytics deletion on the same screen, or email us the Installation ID shown there. Crash reporting has no switch; it sends only the crash details listed above.
