Timestamp Camera — Terms of Use
Last updated 7 October 2026
This page covers Timestamp Camera: GPS Map Pro, the iPhone and iPad camera app that stamps the date, time, place, and your project details onto photos and videos. App support is provided by AZ & J PTY LTD (ACN 699 901 196, ABN 42 699 901 196), based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Your app licence
Timestamp Camera uses Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement. Your licence is granted by the app's publisher identified on the App Store. Read that agreement for the licence conditions. This page provides app-specific information and does not replace that agreement.
What a stamp shows
A stamp records what your device reported when the photo or video was taken: the date and time from the device's clock, and the position, accuracy, and address from its location services and Apple Maps. GPS can be imprecise or unavailable, especially indoors, and an address is the nearest one Apple Maps found for that position. Check the stamp before you rely on it.
When “Check time with network” is on and the device is online, a photo can say that the phone clock matched network time. Photos stamped from your photo library say on the stamp that their date came from the file, which may have been set or changed before the photo reached the app.
Proof, not a guarantee
Timestamp Camera helps you keep a stamped record of your work and the places you photograph. A stamp is not a certificate, and we do not guarantee that a stamped photo, video, or report will be accepted as evidence by a court, insurer, client, or authority. Whether it is accepted is for them to decide. Ask them what they need if it matters.
“Check a photo” compares a copy with the original stamped photo kept in the app on the same device, and says whether the copy is the same as that original. It cannot check photos whose original is not on that device.
Your photos and records
Your photos, videos, and projects are stored on your device. Timestamp Camera has no account-based backup or sync service, and we cannot recover your photos. Deleting the app, deleting a project, or losing your device can lose them. Keep “Also save to Photos” on, export your projects, or back up your device if you need copies. Device backups depend on your Apple settings.
You are responsible for what you photograph, record, and share, including getting any permission you need to photograph people or property, record sound, and use a company name or logo. The Timestamp Camera privacy policy explains what is stored and what is sent to Apple services.
Free features and Pro
Timestamp Camera is free to download. The free version stamps unlimited photos with a small app mark and includes every stamp template, stamped videos up to 30 seconds, one PDF report, and exporting a project's photos as a ZIP.
Pro removes the app mark from photos and reports, adds your logo and company name to the stamp, and allows videos up to 15 minutes, unlimited PDF reports, and spreadsheet (CSV) and Google Earth (KMZ) exports.
Purchases and refunds
Review the product, price, and purchase conditions shown in the app and in Apple's confirmation sheet before buying. Prices vary by country and are shown in your local currency. Apple processes App Store payments. To recover Pro on a new or reset device, use Restore purchases in the app's settings with the Apple Account used for the original purchase. Contact us if access is still missing.
Pro is offered as a yearly subscription or as a lifetime one-time purchase. Both provide the same Pro features. The yearly subscription automatically renews at the end of each year, and your Apple Account is charged the renewal price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. A lifetime purchase does not automatically renew.
Free trial. Pro Yearly starts with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. You won't be charged during the trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly subscription starts automatically and you're charged the yearly price shown in the App Store at the time of purchase. Cancel any time in your Apple Account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). If you start the trial, the app offers one reminder notification two days before it ends; declining it doesn't affect the trial. Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase and has no trial.
Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account's Subscriptions settings or through Manage subscription in the app's settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
When subscription access ends, the free features and the photos, videos, and reports you have already saved remain available. Photos and reports you make after that carry the app mark again, and Pro features require an active subscription or a lifetime purchase.
You can request an App Store refund through Apple's refund process. Eligibility depends on the circumstances and applicable law. This process does not limit any consumer rights or remedies you have against the relevant supplier.
Consumer rights
Nothing on this page excludes, restricts, or changes rights, guarantees, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer law, including the consumer law of the country where you live. Contact us about a fault or purchase problem so we can help address it. The ACCC explains Australian consumer guarantees.
Support and updates
For stamp, saving, export, purchase, or privacy help, email [email protected]. Include your app version, device model, and a description of the problem. Screenshots are optional; avoid including photos or locations you do not need to share. We will never ask for your Apple Account password or payment-card details.
We may update Timestamp Camera and this page as the law or the app changes. The date at the top shows when this page last changed. Updates to this page do not remove rights attached to an existing purchase or your statutory consumer protections.
